I'm not sure if you agree but some folk like to put odd numbers of objects in an image. I suppose even numbers make the image divide into two parts.
This is from Okanagan Lake Penticton.
I was attracted to the stripes on the rock too.

This is our infamous "Connector" highway between Kelowna and Merritt BC. Numerous accidents due to ice and snow and fog occur daily. We managed to pass both ways in our big tour coach unscathed! On the way home I spotted a moose! Too dark to photograph and the side windows were muddy.

"Creperie"
Who would have imagined finding a little bit of Paris on our Penticton waterfront? This lady has a Parisian accent and sells Parisian crepes by the side of the old Sicamous Paddleboat on Okanagan Lake. She is cleaning up just before closing time at 9 pm.

There is even an image of Sacre Couer on Montmartre in Paris on the side of the wagon. Poor St Denis was martyred here hence the name " Hill of Martyrs" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montmartre
One more thing: there is a small plaque on the upper left which constitutes a warning to bachelors (celibataiires). Impasse means 'Dead end" so you had better watch out you guys! ( girls in France who need a husband hold up this plaque and smile sweetly!)
